Sewer Lining

Sewer Pipe Lining & Rehabilitation

SMC Contracting coordinates sewer pipe lining services for municipalities, developers, and property owners in Palm Beach County. We work with specialist third-party lining companies to perform the lining work, managing the process from start to finish so you have a single point of contact. Sewer lining is a trenchless rehabilitation method that installs a new structural liner inside existing sewer pipes, restoring their integrity without the need for full excavation and replacement.

The Town of Palm Beach and surrounding municipalities may require sewer lining as part of new construction or when connecting new sewer laterals to an existing main. In some cases, the property owner is required to line the existing main sewer up to 100 yards in either direction of a proposed lateral connection, and to line any other laterals within that stretch.

Our Sewer Lining Services Include:

  • Cured-in-Place Pipe Lining (CIPP): Installation of resin-saturated liners that are cured in place to form a new pipe within the existing pipe.
  • Main Line Lining: Lining of municipal and private sewer main lines to restore structural integrity and seal infiltration.
  • Lateral Lining: Lining of sewer laterals from the main line to the property connection.
  • Pre-Lining Camera Inspection: Video inspection of existing pipes to assess condition and determine lining requirements.
  • Town-Mandated Lining: Compliance with municipal requirements for sewer lining as a condition of new lateral connections or building permits.

Sewer lining extends pipe life, reduces infiltration, and avoids the disruption of open-cut replacement. Contact us for more information.
